We are back and excited for 2019!

At Mason Avenue we offer free consultations and everyone will have one. Consultation is where you can discuss what you want to achieve and what is going to be a realistic result. With colour we always do a patch test. Two other tests may be carried out, these are incompatibility test and a strand test. So honestly is the best policy to ensure great results.

As stylist we enjoy looking at styles and colours and love a picture to see what your thoughts are. However as stylists we would love to say YES YES YES we can definitely create this look on you and you will look just like the picture you have brought in, unfortunately this isn't the case.

Many pictures you see have been highlighted, filtered or even a WIG. Pictures do not show or say the hour, the weeks or cost to create the look. As professionals this is where training and experience comes in.

CONSULTATION IS KEY!

Patch Test

Colour will be placed behind the ear or the crook of your arm to ensure you have no reaction.

Strand Test

We will remove strands of hair to test to ensure the hair will respond to the processes planned

Incompatability Test

Products you may have used before may contain metallic salts which if not tested before and a professional colour is applied, can cause hair to steam and break. So it is important to test, especially if you can not remember what you have used before.
